Using the resources responsibly.
Website, learning resources and digital products.
Effective date: 13 September 2026
1. Who operates this website
This website, waleed.page, is operated by Waleed Asad, trading as Waleed Asad, based in Dublin, Ireland. Contact: hi@waleedasad.com. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Waleed Asad. “You” means the person using the website or obtaining a resource. Hyax provides the platform through which pages, accounts and digital resources are delivered.
These terms cover Unaddressed!, class notes, practice questions and solutions, mock exams, marking services, financial reporting templates and other resources offered through this site. Product-specific descriptions and licence terms shown before an order also apply. Mandatory consumer rights always take priority. Please save a copy of the terms and product description that apply to your purchase.
2. Educational purpose and independence
Our articles and learning materials support education and informed discussion. They are not individual accounting, audit, investment, legal or tax advice. Accounting conclusions depend on the full facts, the applicable version of a standard and professional judgement. Check original authoritative sources and obtain appropriate professional advice before applying material to a transaction, financial statement or client engagement.
References to ACCA, IFRS Accounting Standards, the IFRS Foundation or other organisations describe the subject matter. Unless expressly stated, this is an independent website and is not endorsed by, affiliated with or an official publication of those organisations. Their names, marks and materials remain the property of their respective owners. No resource or marking service guarantees an examination result, qualification or professional outcome.
3. Access, accounts and responsible use
Publicly available articles and lessons can be read without an account where the page permits this. Other resources may require a Hyax customer account or a recorded order to manage access. Keep your account details accurate and your password secure. Do not share account access, impersonate another person, interfere with the platform, bypass access restrictions, upload malicious files or attempt to obtain another person’s information.
The site is intended for students and professionals aged 16 or over. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to arrange any purchase or other contractual service. Contact us if you believe an account is being misused. We may proportionately restrict access to address a security issue or a material breach, normally explaining the reason and allowing an opportunity to resolve it. This does not remove statutory rights relating to paid content.
4. Free resources and forthcoming products
A resource labelled free has no purchase price. Any account or access steps will be explained at the relevant link. A “Coming soon” item is a description of intended content, not an available download, a confirmed release date or an invitation to pay. Specifications, prices and access arrangements for planned templates will be stated when they are launched. Joining an updates list does not place an order or oblige you to buy anything.
5. Orders, prices and digital delivery
Before a paid order, the product page and checkout must identify what is supplied, the total price and applicable taxes, delivery and access arrangements, relevant software or file compatibility, licence scope, and any stated support or update period. A full geographical trading address and other legally required trader information will be made available before paid sales begin. We do not currently offer paid templates merely because they appear in the forthcoming resources section.
An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance and the agreed product or access is supplied or confirmed, rather than merely when you submit a request. If we cannot supply an accepted order, we will contact you and refund any payment for the unavailable item. You will not be charged for an alternative without agreement. Any recurring charge, subscription period or renewal arrangement must be expressly disclosed and selected; these terms do not create a subscription.
Delivery may be through a download link, a Hyax account library or access to course lessons, as specified. Keep your order confirmation. Contact us if a link fails or the wrong content is delivered. Access duration and the scope of updates are those disclosed for the particular product; no general promise of lifetime access or perpetual updates is made. This does not limit legally required updates or remedies.
6. Your licence to use the material
Unless a product expressly grants a broader licence, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read and download the supplied material for your own study. You may keep a personal backup and print reasonable copies for that purpose. Free access does not transfer ownership or make content public domain.
For a purchased financial reporting template, the default licence also permits the purchaser to adapt the spreadsheet for their own internal professional work, including preparing outputs for their employer or clients. You may share the resulting reports and calculations as part of that work, but may not distribute the underlying template, reusable formulas or source file as a separate resource. Team, classroom, training-provider, redistribution and resale licences require written permission unless the product description expressly includes them.
Do not republish, upload to a shared drive or public repository, resell, sublicense, remove copyright notices, share paid access credentials or incorporate substantial portions into a competing resource. Copyright exceptions and other uses that cannot lawfully be restricted remain available. Third-party materials are governed by their own rights and licences; we grant no rights that we do not hold.
7. No scraping, datasets or AI training
Except where a non-excludable legal right applies, you must obtain our prior written permission before scraping, harvesting, crawling for extraction, bulk downloading or systematically collecting any part of this website or its resources. This includes articles, notes, questions, solutions, datasets, spreadsheet formulas, templates, images, audio, video and associated metadata. Do not use bots, scripts, browser automation, extractors or manual bulk collection to reproduce or build a dataset from the material, or circumvent access controls, rate limits or other restrictions.
Without that permission, you may not use, supply or make the material available for training, pre-training, fine-tuning, testing, evaluating or improving artificial intelligence or machine-learning models; building embeddings, retrieval databases or retrieval-augmented generation systems; generating synthetic training data; or developing competing automated content services. The restriction applies to commercial and non-commercial activities and to collection on behalf of another person.
We expressly reserve, to the fullest extent permitted by law, rights in reproduction, extraction and text and data mining, including the reservation contemplated by Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790 and its Irish implementing law. Public availability, free access or the absence of a technical block does not grant permission. Ordinary individual browsing and downloads within the licence above remain permitted. Nothing in this clause purports to remove mandatory statutory exceptions, including qualifying research exceptions. Requests for a written licence should be sent to hi@waleedasad.com.
8. Templates and professional judgement
Before relying on a template, check its stated software requirements, assumptions, limitations, calculation methods, version and coverage. Test inputs and outputs against the facts and your own independent calculations. Protect confidential information and retain appropriate review evidence. A spreadsheet cannot assess every contractual term or replace professional judgement. We will honour the advertised description and applicable digital-content obligations; this paragraph is not a waiver of those obligations.
9. Questions, comments and submitted work
Submit only material you are entitled to share. Remove client, employer and other third-party confidential information and unnecessary personal data. Do not submit restricted exam papers, infringing material or unlawful or abusive content. You retain ownership of your original submission and give us permission to review it, communicate with you about it and, where a topic is selected, discuss an appropriately anonymised version publicly. We will seek separate permission before identifying you in a published answer or attributing private correspondence to you.
Submitting a question does not guarantee a reply, publication or confidential professional advice. We choose which topics to address. A publicly posted comment is visible to other readers. We may moderate unlawful, abusive, irrelevant or infringing contributions. Contact us to raise a concern about a submission.
10. Mock exams and optional marking
Follow the time stated in the relevant paper. Solutions are supplied as indicated on the resource page. Practice papers and solutions are educational resources, not official predictions of future exams. Any optional marking service is separate from access to a free mock. Its price, scope, submission requirements and expected turnaround must be agreed before you order. Feedback represents an educational assessment, not an official ACCA mark, and does not guarantee a pass.
11. Cancellation and statutory remedies
If you buy as a consumer online, you generally have 14 days from conclusion of the contract to cancel a digital-content or service contract without giving a reason, subject to the applicable statutory rules. Email hi@waleedasad.com with a clear statement and enough information to identify the order. You may use the optional form below; using it is not compulsory. We will reimburse sums due within the legally required period, normally within 14 days of receiving a valid cancellation, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed, without an additional refund fee.
For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the cancellation right is lost only where supply begins after you expressly consent to immediate performance, acknowledge that you will lose that right, and receive the required confirmation on a durable medium. Simply agreeing to these terms or seeing “no refunds” is not a substitute for those steps.
If you expressly request a service, such as marking, to start during the cancellation period, a lawful proportionate charge may apply for work completed before cancellation. Loss of the cancellation right after full performance requires the applicable express consent and acknowledgement. These conditions will be addressed at the point of order.
Separate from change-of-mind cancellation, digital content and services must meet their description and applicable legal standards. Where they do not, you may be entitled to have the problem corrected, a proportionate price reduction or termination and a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2022. We do not exclude those rights, impose a blanket no-refunds rule or charge to remedy a statutory defect.

12. Availability, changes and liability
We take reasonable care in preparing and maintaining the site. Temporary interruptions, third-party outages and errors can occur. Report a material error so we can investigate. We may revise free material and navigation as the resource library develops. Material changes to purchased content or its access will respect the agreed description, any required notice and your statutory remedies; we will not use a website update to remove an existing entitlement arbitrarily.
We are responsible for loss for which the law makes us responsible, including reasonably foreseeable loss caused by our breach where applicable. We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for loss arising solely from incorrect data you supply, unauthorised modifications or uses outside the disclosed purpose where our breach did not cause the loss. Nothing requires you to waive a valid claim.
13. External links and privacy
External resources are controlled by their own operators and may change. A link does not imply endorsement or transfer our obligations to that operator. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing and cookie choices. Marketing choices are separate from purchasing or accepting these terms.
14. Complaints and applicable law
Contact hi@waleedasad.com with your order reference, the issue and the resolution you seek. We will review the matter fairly and respond without undue delay. These terms are governed by Irish law, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections available in your country of habitual residence. Nothing prevents you from bringing proceedings in a court available to you under applicable consumer jurisdiction rules or contacting a competent consumer or data-protection authority.
15. Updates to these terms
We will identify revised terms by their effective date. Changes apply prospectively; an existing purchase remains governed by the terms agreed for it unless a lawful variation is agreed or required by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue insofar as they can operate fairly and lawfully. Failure to enforce a provision immediately is not a permanent waiver.
